This morning, commemorating the 30th Anniversary of tragic events of January 13, 1991, in Vilnius, thousands of candles of memory, unity and victory were lit in Lithuania and many other countries around the World.

On April 22, 2020, Mr T. Valionis, Charge d‘Affaires of the Embassy of Lithuania in Ukraine, delivered 500 protective face shields to the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.
On April 15, 2020, the 4 Groups of Friends on Safety/Protection of Journalists operating in the margins of international organizations in New York, Paris, Geneva and Vienna, have issued a joint statement on safety of journalists and access to information during the COVID-19 crisis. This appeared to be the very first joint statement of these 4 Groups of Friends in history.
