TO END IMPUNITY FOR CRIMES COMMITTED AGAINST JOURNALISTS OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media launches global campaign

The scale of attacks on and harassment of members of the media continues to grow throughout the OSCE region, journalists are threatened every day for what they say or write. Safety of journalists and their freedom to write, investigate and publish stories is the cornerstone of the media freedom. To raise awareness on the issue a short video of the campaign has been created (available here).
OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media calls all OSCE participating States and their citizens to promote and share the above mentioned video through both traditional media and modern communication channels.
