Radiation Protection Centre is sharing its experience with the specialists from Croatia and Serbia
Radiation Protection Centre (RSC) hosts representatives from Croatian Regulatory Body, State Office for Radiological and Nuclear Safety (SORNS), from 2nd to 30th of November 2015 and from Serbian Regulatory Body, Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency, from 9th of November to 4th of December. These experts were delegated to the RSC by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The objective of the fellowship is to share the experience in authorization and inspection of radiation activity focusing on international and Lithuanian regulations on supervision and licensing of radiation protection in medical facilities. Guests together with radiation protection specialists analyze the IAEA, European Union and Lithuanian legislation on radiation protection in medicine; prepare to carry out inspections of medical facilities dealing with ionizing radiation sources.
