Lithuania’s Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal and related projects were presented at the 27th OSCE Economic and Environment Forum, held on the September 11-13th, 2019 in Prague (Czechia).

Andrius Sutnikas, Project Manager at the Klaipeda Science and Technology Park, addressed the issue of innovations in energy security, diversification of energy supplies and challenges of climate change.

The event was opened by the OSCE’s Chairman-in-Office and Slovakian Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Miroslav Lajčák, the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tomáš Petříček, the OSCE’s Secretary General, Thomas Greminger, and the Albanian Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Etjen Xhafaj.

The OSCE Economic and Environment Forum is an annual OSCE event that involves senior government officials of OSCE participating States, representatives of international organizations, academia, NGOs and the private sector. During the forum, discussions are focused on economic progress and security in the OSCE through energy co-operation, new technologies, good governance and connectivity in the digital era.
