LITHUANIA SUPPORTS DRAFT DECLARATION ON FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOMS IN THE DIGITAL AGE
Lithuania has joined the rapidly growing group of OSCE participating States co-sponsoring the draft declaration of the OSCE Ministerial Council on Fundamental Freedoms in the Digital Age.
This draft declaration was first introduced by the United States last year. Its objective is to have the OSCE participating States reaffirm their commitments to respect the exercise of human rights and fundamental freedoms, including through new technologies such as the Internet, mobile networks and social media tools.
