LITHUANIA INVITES THE OSCE TO OBSERVE GENERAL ELECTIONS

At the 915th meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council the Lithuanian Delegation has announced that the Foreign Minister of Lithuania, acting upon the country's OSCE commitments, issued a letter on 1 June 2012, in which he, on behahlf of the Government of Lithuania, invites the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, ODIHR and OSCE participating States to observe the general elections to the Seimas (Parliament) of the Republic of Lithuania scheduled for October 2012.
