LITHUANIA INVITED THE OSCE TO OBSERVE UPCOMING PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

On 23 January Permanent Representative of the Republic of Lithuania, ambassador Giedrius Čekuolis, in line with Copenhagen commitments, officially invited observers from the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights [ODIHR], OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and the participating States to observe the next regular election of the President of the Republic of Lithuania, which will take place on 11 May 2014, and the elections to the European Parliament to be held in the Republic of Lithuania on 25 May 2014.
