IAEA IPPAS mission experts reviewed physical security framework in Lithuania

An International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) team of experts concluded a two-week (9-20 October) International Physical Protection Advisory Service (IPPAS) mission in Lithuania. IPPAS mission team recognised, that Lithuania has established and maintains a robust and comprehensive physical security framework and that the State Nuclear Power Safety Inspectorate (VATESI) and the Radiation Protection Centre (RSC) assure licensee’s compliance with the regulatory requirements.  

Full scope IPPAS mission covered all five modules.
